Jim Anderson brings exceptional talent to Dymun + Company, drawing on more than two decades of high-caliber experience to create work characterized by its blend of intelligence, sensitivity and superb craftsmanship. Jim’s concise, high-impact language and real-world resonance have brought life to agency projects for Dollar Bank, St. Clair Hospital, California University of PA, Astorino, PPG Lynx, Duquesne Light, War for Empire and the Pittsburgh Regional Alliance.

Jim has distinguished himself by winning a Clio, one of the advertising industry’s top creative awards, for his work on the highly entertaining and effective television campaign for Zippo Lighters. Jim’s work has also won national awards including Communications Arts, One Show, ANDY, National and Regional ADDY’s, New York Art Directors Club, International Film Festival, PRSA and he was also a Cannes Film Festival finalist.

A Minnesota native, Jim began his career in Minneapolis before heading to Pittsburgh, where he worked at Ketchum on numerous accounts, including PNC, Pennsylvania Travel and Tourism, Zippo Lighters, and Alcoa. Jim then worked in New York City and Dallas on such high-profile accounts as Wachovia, Prudential Insurance, Nissan, AT&T, Xerox Corporation, Absolut, Panasonic, Union Carbide, M&M’s and Dupont. “It’s not about the work. It’s not about relationships,” says Jim. “It’s about both.”

Jim is a graduate of Augustana College and attended the University of Minnesota’s School of Journalism. He has also served as a Community Developer for the Peace Corps in Liberia.
