As the guiding force behind the development of the agency’s campaigns, John Dymun takes an artful, intelligent and market-sensitive approach that has earned him a reputation as the top creative talent in the market. In his 34-year career, John has received numerous local, national and international awards for work on accounts including Bayer Corporation, Dollar Bank, the National Science Foundation, Duquesne Light, Digital Equipment Corporation, General Foods, Rockwell, Bell Atlantic, Gulf Oil and many others. John’s professional experience in the financial services area includes work with the Canadian Bank of Commerce, PNC, Federated Investors Trust Services and Union Trust Bank.
Before forming the agency, John was senior vice president, group creative director at Ketchum Communications, working with that agency’s most important clients, including Alcoa, Chesapeake & Potomac Telephone (Bell Atlantic), the Digital Equipment Corporation and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s economic development and tourism accounts.
A graduate of Pennsylvania State University, John serves on the boards of the City Theatre, the Conflict Resolution Center International, and the Greater Pittsburgh Literacy Council. He is a member of the Board of Regents of La Roche College and he also sits on the marketing committee of the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust.
In 1992, John was named Advertising Executive of the Year by the Pittsburgh Chapter of the Business Marketing Association. Recently, he was a recipient of the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts Cultural Award 2000 for creative leadership, marking the first time a communications professional was honored alongside prominent regional artists.
