Susan Kownacki

Susan Kownacki has nearly 15 years of experience across multiple corporate marketing and agency functions, including research and strategic analysis and planning, account management, and marketing communications (intranet development, event planning, collateral management). She offers a unique combination of strategic business insight with considerable experience in client support and project management. As Strategy Director, Susan provides strategic account direction as well as business and strategy development for the agency. Her clients include Dollar Bank, Duquesne Light, the Technology Collablorative, Pittsburgh Partnership for Neighborhood Development and Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business.
Prior to joining Dymun + Company, Susan was the Director of Global Market Intelligence at Marconi (formerly Fore Systems), where she provided C-level management with market insights based on the coordinated work of analysts worldwide. Prior to this, Susan designed and built the market and competitive intelligence department for the Americas region. During her time at Marconi, her insights contributed to the company’s technology strategy and corporate business plan. Susan began her career at a privately held electronic publishing company as a Pricing Analyst and then Account Manager.
Susan has an MBA with a concentration in Marketing from Case Western Reserve University, as well as BA degrees in English and Communications from University of Michigan. She is active in her North Side neighborhood, the Mexican War Streets and is on a volunteer advisory panel for PowerLink, a non-profit organization that helps women owned businesses learn how to implement best industry practices.
