Challenge
As an economic development organization formed through merger, the Technology Collaborative sought communications support to create a new brand identity, including name, logo, themeline and key messages. The goal was to position the Technology Collaborative and enhance its ability to fulfill its mission of leveraging Pennsylvania's strengths as a center of technical innovation and advanced manufacturing, integrating digital, electrical, optical, advanced materials and mechanical technologies.

Strategy
D+CO created an identity for the newly combined organization that signified the vitality and future growth for the organization and industries it serves. The themeline and key messages promote the Pittsburgh Digital Greenhouse and Robotics Foundry merger as a ground-breaking development for current and prospective members, partners, funders and other related stakeholders.

D+CO also developed and implemented a new identity package, including stationery, business cards and templates, as well as a host of communications tools including print ads, collateral, posters and signage.

Results
The team successfully launched the branding of the Technology Collaborative at the former Pittsburgh Digital Greenhouse's annual meeting. The launch immediately gave the organization a strong and cohesive identity that was well received by its members and the high-tech community.
