A+ Schools is an independent community advocate focused on improving student achievement in Pittsburgh’s public schools. From its inception as a recommendation of the Mayor’s Commission on Public Education, D+CO provided A+ Schools’ leadership with strategic communications counsel for naming, organizational branding and identity, messaging to all constituents and media and community relations for its public launch.
